ENERGY BUSINESS TRACK

An academic concentration that brings together the Tepper School's path-breaking approach to business education with Carnegie Mellon's core strength in engineering to provide graduates with the ability to become leaders in the energy industry

CASE COMPETITIONS

ECTC members travel to top business schools to represent Tepper and compete in energy case competitions. We consistently participate in Duke's Energy in Emerging Markets and Michigan Ross' Renewable Energy Case Competitions, among others. ECTC is hosting the inaugural Clean Tech Case Competition October 9-10, 2020.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Prepare students for recruiting in the energy and cleantech industry through internal jobs databases, industry and alumni networks, resume reviews and best practices.

ENERGY WEEK

In its fifth year, CMU Energy Week 2020 convenes energy experts, CEOs and corporate executives, government officials, nonprofits, key influencers, students, and entrepreneurs for a facilitated dialogue on how to advance energy technologies and innovations around the world.

CAREER TREKS

Trips to visit and network with leading companies in the industry. Past companies visited have included: Enel Green Power, Orsted, National Grid, Schneider Electric, ERCOT, CLEAResult, 8Minute Solar, Austin Energy, etc.

EVENTS

ECTC is proud to host a regular lineup of events including Speaker Series, Happy Hours, Career Panels, Field Trips and Energy 101s.
